I love this shot! Still learning on how to do motion shots and I do photography for my local animal rescue.
@ash9413 just nees to keep practicing… it is more standing on the right spot, using the right moment over camera and settings… I usually work on aperture priority mode… and set up the minimum-auto ISO if I need a faster shutter speed… so I do not have to bother with settings and can focus on the dogs and the situation.
@ninja.vom.wolfstor Thank you for the tips! Cool how you use auto aperture and iso in this situation. A lot easier than playing around with those settings to while they are playing as you might end up missing the perfect shot. Well, as you know it turned out great! Do you remember about what your shutter speed was at for a situation like this? It looks like it’s well lit so the aperture and iso probably stay in a good range to also get a crisp image.
great shot
Does Smilla have an Instagram? She is just wonderful!
@anubisbarack_thehusky handfed Ninja 2 years… it was more a ritual than training…
@ash9413 it is an 1.8 lens… good enough for actionshots over the day… even in lousy weather
@ninja.vom.wolfstor oh no. Why’s that? ☹️
@ninja.vom.wolfstor thanks for getting back to me! Good to know.

Do you know how they managed to get pure bred dingo over there? In interested because in a lot of states in Aus its illegal to own a dingo, except if you have all the right permits ect (although some states you can easily own one) which I would have thought would make it hard to get one out of the country?!
