My longing for snow lets me dig out old pictures I have never deemed good enough to post…

Sometimes I take pictures hit can’t find a way to properly edit the pictures… I mean they look nice… but not as I want them to look.
When I take and edit pictures I want You to feel or see how I experienced this moment.
Look at this shot… it was in the mids of a snowstorm, dark moody and really cold… but it did not matter to me as I saw Ninja move around and he was just so happy and that brightened the gloom around us… I could have hugged him right away… so I changed the mood from dark to nice, because that is how I remember the moment… and that is how I want to share it.

Ninja had the day of his life in all the snow… his thick fur preventing the body heat to melt the snow and he was covered in frost… it took a snowstorm and an abandoned hike to get these pictures… but I love them.

Now I edited the picture in a way that makes me happy to think about the day and wonder why I always thought it was so bad…
