There have been lots of messages questioning me, how people would be able get prints of Ninja.
.
I have been a busy bee 🐝 and set up some pictures at a gallery.
.
So far I selected some older pictures, as I work my way from old to new ones as this example picture here at the beach of St. Peter Ording.
I have chosen pictures I personally like a lot and re-edited them with the techniques I picked up over the past years.
.
The gallery is just a preview, I am not certain I will use @smugmug on the long run and have no clue if they offer a good value for the money.
But what I would like to know is, which picture is missing, if you want a different crop/cut for some of them… What categories You would like to see. Even if I don’t stay at smugmug ( I have a 14 day trial) I can use Your input to set up anywhere else.
I just wanted to get started because otherwise I would have delayed this further and further.

Also more good news, in the coming months I will have the opportunity to go out and make pictures with You and Ninja if You like… It would most likely be close to #basel #freiburg if You want to meet up.

Think we made a fan and friend really happy in Waltrop, when we met after the shooting with Christian Vieler for a coffee ( or 🤤🍨). It is equally interesting for me to get to know the people behind the comments and messages 😊

I have been sick the past week and was sun able to go out and take new pictures, so I decided to repost my favorite spring picture of Ninja for You.
I just love the mood of the picture and find myself wanting to lay right next to Ninja. He looks so happy and peaceful.

I had plans to actually make this picture available as a print today, but it is taking more time than I expected.
I would actually like your input on this, if you wanted to purchase a print – it has been demanded so often – where would you like to buy them? There seem to be a lot of platforms offering this kind of service, so I wondered if You had a favorite platform to do so – even if you may not be interested in my pictures per se, but of someone else.

In a bit the new season of Game of Thrones will start. I am very excited to learn how it will all come to a grand finale, now that winter is here.
.
I absolutely adore the books and can only recommend people to read them, if they like the show.
After the first season I saw a teaser for season 2.. „…a very small man can cast a very large shadow…“ and I could not wait for the show… I needed to read the books and dived deep into the rich world of GRRM’s work. It was nice to read the details that lead to the events that made A Song of Ice and Fire so popular.
Thank You for bringing these books into my world and all these amazing YouTube channels that thoroughly analyze these works word by word for clues and connections. The layer below the obvious happenings is what I really admire.

Nevertheless I am very curious how this saga will conclude in the show-universe. I used to root for Tyrion, but sadly he has been pretty much a bystander the past season, so who should I root for now, and why?

Over the weekend @joserapetfood invited us to travel to Waltrop to Christian Vieler @vieler.photography, a German Photographer who is specialized in getting funny expressions of our dogs, for a photo shoot.
.
I know very well know I want Ninja to look on pictures.
Others know their gear and the craft, but they do not know what makes Ninja look wolfy… More than once I ended up being disappointed.
So I was a bit sceptic and almost did not want to travel 1100km just to get a few shots that had a high chance to not satisfy me… Especially with meeting new people in a place I have never been… But then I thought, why not? Fortunately Frank from @kaihu_und_hadez joined me, which made thjngs a lot easier for me and started to look forward to this event.
.
Spoiler alert: I was not disappointed at all.
.
It was a pleasure to watch Christian do his magic. He worked very well with Ninja and adjusted to Ninja’s quirks. He was very open and explained his setup to me, which was really nice of him.
Christian made a lot of funny and derpy Ninja pictures but also some really really nice portraits of Ninja.
.
The whole trip was very well organized by @karkaliscommunications and it was a pleasure to meet @joserapetfood on the location 😊

Two days ago we had 20°C. It was really warm, T-Shirt weather… I went to buy ice cream, had to water out plants and spices and even had to refill the pool for the fishes… .
The plan for today was to go to the other side of the hill, put Ninja close to the cherry blossoms and dandelions… and to capture some really nice spring pictures.
.
However, I woke up to like 8cm fresh snow 😂 what a surprise…
.
I wrote Frank, who is in Norway, and he did not believe it… I recorded a video and Frank was as baffled as I was 😂
.
„Ah well, got to make the best of what you have“, I thought and decided to live stream the making of this picture… .
You were able to see how well Ninja can pose for pictures and that besides the beautiful serious faces he is just a derpy goof 🤪 Swipe to see what I mean 😂
What a surprise… Really did not expect this weather…
Now, a hot chocolate and a cozy fire later, we start to enjoy this 😊

Among 240 000 pictures this is the only picture of Ninja locking on to me like this.
I imagine that this is the kind of focus he locks on when he is dashing after something he really wants.
I always try to capture it anew with nicer background, less direct sunlight, better position of paws… I caught him serious, wolfy, but never again locked on like this.

Today You can see derpy Ninja, play-bow Ninja, dashing Ninja and the very serious Ninja 🤣

Sometimes it is so difficult to choose the right picture, or even time and location… Now that spring is at our doorstep and little blossoms are spouting everywhere, I wanted to include it in today’s picture.
.
Ninja just loves to dash over the meadows, I am certain you recognize that… It is always making me happy to see Ninja happy… Can’t help but to grin and chuckle observing him. Can You relate?

Austria, Switzerland, Germany… Been around these past days. Also next week I will be able to take part in a nice project and have a professional photographer take pictures of Ninja.
It will be nice to see Ninja from a different point of view once again 😊
But more about that when I am able to disclose more details 😊
Spring has definitely arrived, can’t wait to capture Ninja with some blossoms. Last year’s pictures were so beautiful 🌸🐺🌸

Here is the picture I promised in the previous post. I just looked through my photos and videos and found it. I instantly had to smile so I decided to post the unedited video, because I found it cute.
It just shows Ninja’s good nature and love and excitement 😊😊
.
The past days were busy, I reset my phone as pictures seemed to be unreadable all of a sudden. Wonder if the card is slowly giving up again… Gahhhhh 😑
At the same time my webserver broke and I had to set it up again as well… Just finished at 4:45 am this night and have not slept, yet… will do so after this post 😴
Just glad that everything is working again properly and even faster 😊

March 28th to April 5th I could use some help walking the dogs… With all 4 of them it might be tough to hold them all if a 🦌 shows up.
So, if you want to meet Hadez, Kaihu, Roja or Ninja and want to help me walk them here, close to Basel, Switzerland… Let me know 😊
