I laid down next to him, loved to watch into the blue sky, the tickle of grass and daisies on my ears and cheeks, their smell and the occasional insect…
The grass was so soft and the sun was warming my belly… almost fell asleep 😊

We have ten thousands of fruit trees here… but all have white blossoms… I recall riding the bike last year to find a tree that is not white… we covered like 20km and this is the only tree I found… and it is pink 😊
.
As the tree stands on a private property I felt a bit bad to put Ninja on the wall… it is not the most glamorous angle, but I did not want to disturb the owners.
.
I wanted to re-shoot this morning, but we had no sun and I had to postpone.
This was good as I watched Wrestlemania last night and was pretty tired… yeah, I know, embarrassing… but I nevertheless love to watch it at times 😊
I have been feeling better and we spent this beautiful spring day on a large tour along the riverside.

We took our time, 4 calm hours for 15km… we had long breaks inbetween to observe passerbys, ships, ducks and swans 😊
.
Usually I try to avoid the riverside on sunny sunday afternoons… so many people… with dogs… and many afraid of Ninja…
But not all of them, a young puppy was curiously sniffing Ninja and the owners let it happen. We spent an good hour answering questions, showing pictures and videos while the two dogs got to know each other.

All in all we had a fun day and made best use of the weather.

It was fun to practice posing after 4 weeks of slacking 😁 Yesterday Ninja was totally unmotivated and unfocused… so I am very happy that some more attention and treats he showed my his favorite face.
We usually avoid hiking on holidays like these because of the masses of people that pour into nature… additionally the flu came back, again… so I spend Easter in bed… wonder how long this will go on…
.
Today, nevertheless I made a longer hike again. It was warm, ( 18°C//65°F ) sunny and Ninja really needed it…
Spring has truly arrived… We found wild garlic ( which is really, really rare here ), cherry blossoms, apple blossoms… blossoms in white, pink, yellow and purple… and the first flowers on the meadows…
It will be so beautiful here during the next weeks…

We have another beautiful and warm spring day. How can I stay inside when it is this beautiful outside… it just like a voice whispering in my ear „go out, feel the sun on your skin“ and you see the happy face of cute Ninja who enjoys every moment of it…

I probably stayed out a bit longer than I should have, but it was totally worth it… I hope! 😁😁

I was also shopping… and am going to eat some very tasty strawberries with vanilla curd cheese now 😋🍓🍨
The past years, I often missed strawberry season… but not this year. @kaihu_und_hadez got me hooked on our visit in switzerland 😁

Some are often concerned because Ninja looks so serious… he is really just a goof just like most other Siberians.

We still take things slow… did a short hike this morning and returned home to get some more recovery-sleep. It is becoing increasingly more beautiful outside… The picture is a few weeks old…

The past years I always had a lack of snowy pictures to the mild climate here… and now it feels odd to have all these beautiful snow pictures while we spring is arriving outside 😊

We had a beautiful, warm and sunny day. The first blossoms appear on the trees, birds are chirping. It is sooooo difficult not to grab the camera and go outside… maybe I should start tomorrow… or better wait a few more days… hmh 😁

Ninja is in a great mood, he loves the sun and spent half the day outside. Love to watch him goof around and enjoy the moment… which is probably the best lesson we can learn from them.

While I am a giving person, I have a hard time asking for help even more so accepting it… I felt guilty towards Ninja, because I was unable to give him long and fun hikes. Ninja held no grudge, even after a week he was very patient…
Glad that I am able to make up for it now.
.
So we ended up with 2 very tough weeks. I had influenza and returned to hiking before I was fully recovered and became even more sick than before…
.
Usually I can deal with the physical symptoms well, but this time I also was unable to focus on anything… I could not sit, not edit pictures, not lay down, not read, not watch T.V. … anything that required thinking did not work…
It felt as if my strongest trait was being taken away.
.
The past 3 days, as I was physically feeling better, but not before today I was producing an edit I was happy with…
.
Still have the occasional cough, but at least I can eat and drink without pain meds now and will have a few more „quiet days“ with peppermint tea and honey.
.
Hopefully you like the picture, which is a few weeks old, but nevertheless one of my favorites.

I’ll still take things slowly here, but will catch up over the next days.

It is really an interesting experience… Leopards, Lions, Tigers, Camels and Water Buffaloes are not the typical animals you’d expect to meet in Switzerland…
It is evening… as the sun sets the lions greet the coming darkness with loud roaring that can be heard throughout the valley.
They live 100m away from our guest home with @kaihu_und_hadez , Ninja’s beautiful son.

When we want to pass the area Hadez is the only smart dog… he clearly singalizes „there is danger! Lets move away!“
.
Ninja, on the other hand, showed no signs of fear… I’d say he was curious and tried to get closer to the cats. The tigers did not pay attention to me at all… but as Ninja turned his back they hurried towards him… while Ninja was striding tall and proud past the enclosure… with no sign of fear…
