Horses. Ninas only flaw. I can recall him from wildlife, he listens, is a good boy at home… He was pretty excited whenever we met a horse.
The trainer told me I’d have to have ninja wear a backpack for the rest of his life. I refused. I knew there was a better way. For the ordinary person this video isn’t interesting, but with Ninjas history in mind it is just amazing how he has changed due to my persistent, patient training.
At the start he doesn’t even bother following the horses towards the trail. It is me who encourages him to check it out. Also later when we are following the black horse, he prefers to sniff around. This is just amazing and makes me super happy.

Ninja goes heel at the packwalk
There was a discussion if a husky is able to walk heel even with distraction. HEre we have 3 other dogs and at ~ 0:19 the other 3 dogs even find something interesting and run off into the woods.
He can do that as long as I need him to, even with 10 dogs and even if they gnaw at him.

Training Swing, Day 7
As predicted he disliked being held over the swing, so he decided to jump himself instead 😀

Taking care Selva (Ninja’s daughter)
We have been taken care of Ninja’s daughter Selva. Her family decided to make vacation without Selva and gave this precious gem in our hands.

Ninja and Selva, recall
More impressions of Ninja and his daughter Selva. In focus recalling … It is so amazing that you can recall Selva even if she enthusiastically runs forward or plays. She is so great.

Husky and Horsetraining
This is just to demonstrate our progress in training. As you can see he is mostly relaxed. Even though there were 2-3 situations where he would have started to go for the horses – without leash. It is still a huge progress from last year. I see light at the end of the tunnel 🙂
