For this Throwbackthursday I chose on of my favorite pictures.
Where I live, close to Mainz we do not have a lot of snow… last year we had snow on 4 days. So whenever it snows I get the camera and Ninja to go out and first and foremost enjoy the snow. I absolutely love how snows swallows all sound… its like walking on wadding/cotton… and even more silent as in the fog.
Always wonder how it must be for dogs… they usually start to dash around like crazy… maybe because all those scents are covered my a blanket of snow… I do not know… but even Ninja makes leaps of joy just because he is happy…
Then we make some pictures and go for an extended walk… just to get the moat out of it before it vanishes away.
I was thrilled to see snow a few days ago in the black forest and made me realize – not only because of Ninja, but also because of family and friends – how gifted I am.
