I am still writing on our Interview with @derhund_official and have been selecting my favorite pictures today. This is definitely one of them.

Taken with a more than 40 year old lens in manual mode it does resemble my love for vintage glass and a super trained dog that won’t move while you set the focus. Even 10cm ( 3-4 inches ) back or forth would mean the picture is no longer in focus.

…and then „The Look“ I cannot even put it in words. I lack the vocabulary in German and English to describe it. My heart just melts and I think, wow Ninja looks so gorgeous and then it all gets blurry and I just want to hug him.
Don’t know what effect it has on others but I am just proud that I am the chose human for Ninja… Maybe it is a bit in „awe“… It just makes me happy.

When Frank and Raphaela leave the house, the dogs like to spend a few more hours sleeping before they start to walk around the house, usually it is Ninja – I am certain Kaihu and Hadez send him to me – who looks around the corner first to see if I am still sleeping. If I don’t move they try 10 minutes later… If I move a whole lot of energy and joy unfolds while Ninja jumps on the bed to greet me, followed by Hadez and Kaihu who all demand some morning cuddles. It is their way of telling me that they want to go outside and our daily morning ritual.
