Why wait? Why not start right now? Sure you will not be able to blur the background well…
You can improve perspective, composition… get started to better understand light…
There are plenty of amazing tutorials everywhere!

This is how I started… with the worst possible camera on the cheapest smartphone 😁😁
Rolling shutter, bad exposure, not the slightest bit of sharpness… but that did not keep me from trying to improve… and so I did…
.
Even now, I have one of the cheapest cameras with one of the cheapest lenses, because I am on a tight budget.
Ofc I dream of proper gear, a nice lens, maybe full format, proper lighting equipment… but at the same time I am proud that I am able to capture these shots with my gear…

So, stop with excuses look at some tutorials and put what you learnt into practice… 😊

@indus_the_wolfdog indeed… I think it is a huge advantage that I started with phone and point and click camera. It helped to find creative solutions… and yes… what use is the latest gear if you can’t properly use it?
