Nikhita is one of a handful of dogs that are able max out Ninjas incredible patience.
.
This picture looks feral, but don’t forget that growling, showing teeth, snarling and warning bites into the air are just part of normal communication.
.
It is not about biting the other dog, biting is always the last measure… no dog/wolf wants to get bitten or hurt. Being hurt could be life threatening and as such needs to be avoided if possible.
.
Also these moments usually do not last… it is a matter of a few seconds at most before things are back to normal. Below, next to the amazing video of Ninja goofing on the table, you can see Ninja and Nikhita a few seconds after this discussion.

@stephuurs older Zeus from that pic I took at the park!
@kaihu_und_hadez haha… das stimmt
@lovewolfstore thank you, wish you a fun evening
@deuxhuskies yeah… I used to forbid it… but that was silly… it is simply how they communicate… and here they were just testing boundaries and flirting… so it was nothing serioud
@_jenniannika_ haha.. yeah… people often get scared when they show teeth, or snarl… but its really only more intense versions of „leave me be!“
@_jenniannika_ or a „i really do not like this, stop it“
Great photo!
I wonder what they are singing?
@karlirle Nikhita ist ein gutes Stück kleiner und hat dennoch die größeren Zähne.
@aurorafacets indeed… even though it is just a friendly teasing.
@ninja.vom.wolfstor . No, not this good of quality! Mine are cut off, out of focus and all over the place! Haha
@desertbunnyandwolf just saying that I miss out on a lot shots, too…
@ninja.vom.wolfstor I would never have known! It’s an awesome photo. All of your photos are amazing! I wish I could hang out with you and watch you get pictures of Ninja. ❤️
@desertbunnyandwolf the problem here was motion and slow shutterspeed… this is why the eyes are sharp but the mouth that opened or closed are not sharp.. but if you check Nikhitas eyes they are really sharp
