Yesterday I described how you could use a dark motif as a stylistic mean while shooting against the sun…
You can counter this problem using a flash or a reflector. I am still a novice using these… but you can see the difference… using “de-haze” the result became quite decent.
Initially I had Ninja brightened up, but decided that it would look too unnatural. A professional photographer would probably have removed the grass in front of Ninja. I also decided against it… I will pay more attention to these details in future…
It happens quite a bit that the darn details affect my pictures. The shot I was initially happy with turns out to be not sharp. At home, I notice blown out or too dark areas… something in the background looks weird.
Well… it feels rather odd for me to give photography advice. I am not a photographer, just a hobbyist and some photographers probably hold their hands over their heads while reading this, haha.
I could give a lot of useful advice to a person while taking pictures, but writing about it feels odd.
Anyway, these were my thoughts regarding this picture, and you – not You – asked for it! Visit us in Mainz, also bring your own woofer, and let us take some pictures.
