Since roughly a year we are using the Furbo Dog Camera, @furbodogcamera and use it more often that I initially expected.

Ninja does not have separation anxiety, he is neither destructive nor loud. So you could expect to have little use for the Furbo Dog Camera. Nevertheless it does give you security by simply opening the Furbo App and being able to see what your dog is doing. I am certain we have all been in the situation when we get delayed more than anticipated, e.g. via traffic, long queues at the supermarket, a prolonged meeting, etc…
In these situations I find myself thinking about my dog and losing focus on the task at hand. But with Furbo I can easily see how Ninja is doing and instantly see that he is all right.
Should Ninja seem excited I can watch and listen through the app what is going on, e.g. if a horde of barking dogs is passing by, the neighbor starts to drill, or if there is simply someone ringing the doorbell.
With the built in microphone I can talk to Ninja, for example to calm him, send him to his bed or simply get him in front of the camera (in case he is in another room)
Furbo also has a built in function to throw treats, that can easily distract Ninja from a stimulus.

As a conclusion, I’d say that the Furbo has become a very useful item for me and I do not want to miss it. Most likely it would be a nice gift for christmas, especially now that it is on sale (reduced by 44%) for christmas.
