Sitting next to Ninja and watching him you will notice all his different faces.
I like to spend a lot of time in the forest, but it is not as we are walking huge distances… Maybe 3-5 miles and occasionally more… I think the max we walked together was something about 18 miles. I had a nice walking buddy that liked to ease the mind walking.

Right now it has become quite warm, today is the hottest day of the year so far and the dogs do not even want to leave the house… They are laying on the cool tiles and occasionally stand up to find a cooler spot.

So when we are walking I like to find a nice quiet spot where we can observe the landscape or where I can watch Ninja.

This is Ninja’s typical face, where he is happy or at least content and does neither want to lay down or move on. He found something he finds mildly interesting and observes. His ears are not put forward but to the sides. He is relaxed and his body is not under tension.
This means Ninja would stay at my side without being reminded. If I looked at Ninja now he would turn his head towards me and give me some kisses 😙
