At first… I am always shooting in RAW. This means that I get all the data the sensor was able to pick up. If you shoot in JPG, there is already some basic adjustments applied… lens corrections, basic adjustments for vibrance, saturation, contrast and also for exposure.
When taking pictures of Ninja there are often odd colors in his fur. In bright daylight, he seems so much lighter than he should and as soon as it becomes cloudy, he looks very dark.
Yesterday we took a long hike. I had some spots where I wanted to make shots of Ninja, to show something different.
We are about to start a longer hike today, hence the early post. Not quite sure where we will head to, maybe to Gonsenheim, maybe to the Rhine… maybe towards Bingen, I’ll let Ninja decide.
