Dog training Thursday #001
One of the most asked questions I receive is „How do you train Ninja?!“
I thought that it would be useful to make a series of posts related to that topic ( #ninjatrainingthursday )
Siberian Husky prey dummy training
The previous video, our first outdoor Training, showed that Ninja was still too distracted. He did well but I decided to continue training inside a bit longer to increase accuracy. Today was our second outdoor training. It wasn’t just „throw and retrieve“, instead I ran around all over the place and hid the prey dummy from Ninja.
As you can see he enjoys this training and for me that is really the only thing that matters … He gets a friendly „no“ (there is no negative touch with it) to correct his behaviour and there is encouragement for a good completion. He appears to be enjoying the game.

Just a few additional scenes from the training this morning. Ninja CAN run if he chooses to 😀 And you have to be alert at all times.
