As of a few years ago Halloween has not been known in Germany. The closest thing I can think of is the Walpurgisnacht, Witches‘ Night.. from 30th April to 1st May…
People light fires to keep bad ghosts away, kids trick people, people wear costumes and young lads climb a long pole to the top and lovers make lines of chalk on the ground to make their secret love public.
